Swap school for the Seine this summer, with £10 child fares on Eurostar

 
Eurostar is offering child tickets for just £10 one way this summer, to help parents replace school holiday boredom with an exciting European adventure.¹
 
The same low fare is available in both Standard and Standard Premier classes, for travel between London, Ashford or Ebbsfleet to Paris, Brussels, Lille, Calais or Any Belgian Station. Tickets are on sale from 7^th to 20^th June, and valid for travel between 4^th July and 31^st August.²
 
From ice cream and sandcastles at Paris Plages, to a Tintin themed exploration of Brussels, Europe’s cities are ideal for families looking to give their children a memorable summer holiday.
 
In Paris, museums come alive with a treasure hunt around the Louvre from THATLou, followed by afternoon treats at the chocolate museum.  Brussels is home to a children’s museum focused on play, and also hosts one of Europe’s only pandas, at Pairi Daiza.  Whilst in Lille, a puppet theatre at the Jardin Vauban has performances throughout the summer, or a park full of fun and games at Parc Le Poussins.

1. Child fare is for those aged between 4 and 11 years on day of travel.
2. The fares will be available to purchase from 07 June 2016 to 20 June 2016 inclusive (until 11pm BST) for travel from 4 July to 31 August 2016 inclusive, except for the following dates: 22.07.2016, 23.07.2016, 29.08.2016.
3. Maximum 1 child per traveling adult per booking, maximum 2 children per booking.
4. Child fare is for those aged between 4 and 11 years on day of travel.
5. Tickets are exchangeable by paying the difference in price with the next available fare in the same or higher class of service, plus a fixed fee of £10 per child segment and £30 per adult segment in standard class or £40 per segment in Standard Premier.

About Eurostar

1. Eurostar is the high-speed train service linking St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International, Ashford International, Paris, Brussels, Lille, Calais, Disneyland Resort Paris, Avignon and the French Alps.
2. Eurostar was established in 1994 as a partnership between three railway companies: SNCF, SNCB and LCR (London and Continental Railways). On 1 September 2010, Eurostar became a single, unified corporate entity owned by three shareholders: SNCF, SNCB and LCR. LCR’s holding was transferred to the Treasury in 2014, and sold by the UK government to a consortium comprising Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (CDPQ) and Hermes Infrastructure on 28^th May 2015.

5. Eurostar and Eurotunnel are entirely separate companies.  Eurostar operates high-speed passenger trains, while Eurotunnel operates vehicle shuttle services and the Channel Tunnel itself. Eurostar is Eurotunnel’s biggest customer.
