No need to travel far for a change of scene - Thalys highlights its best destinations in its latest campaign

What Thalys wants to tell its customers is that ‘there's no need to go far for a change of scene’. Travelling means rediscovering the little things, the special features and originality of our neighbours, who are so close to us yet so different.

Thalys is using the unusual aspects of Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, and Cologne and promises a change of scene, some originality and even a touch of self-derision.

To do so, Thalys has teamed up with Gil Anselmi, a young photographic artist with a bright, enchanting vision, who has created a colourful, lively and dynamic campaign. This engaging approach demonstrates Thalys' determination in its mission of strengthening the ties that unite Europeans.

Among the quirky, pop-style visuals created for the campaign, one is aimed directly at Thalys 'Business' customers and highlights the pleasure of working face-to-face again.

The campaign will be launched in DOOH (Digital Out of Home), on social media and on display from 18 October in the Ile-de-France region and from 25 October in Belgium, the Netherlands, and the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany.

The code name for this campaign is "Dare". We're adopting a bolder, more distinctive tone to inspire our customers to discover or rediscover our destinations,’ said Bruno Dierickx, Thalys Marketing and Sales Director.
